The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is one of the institutions most present in the Americas for the development of projects that encourage the green technological transition and increasingly support decarbonization.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched the initiative Too Good to Waste to accelerate the implementation of solid waste management projects in Latin America and the Caribbean with the aim of mitigating the associated methane emissions.

With financial support from Global Methane Hub and the multi-donor fund Aquafund, the initiative seeks to contribute to reducing methane emissions by at least 30% in solid waste operations financed by the Bank, in accordance with the objective of the Global Methane Pledge.

On April 25 at IFAT Brazil, visitors will have the pleasure of participating in the event offered by the IDB to celebrate the exchange of technology and knowledge on the transitions and advances to reduce the contribution of carbon equivalent to the atmosphere through the handling of waste.

The panel will feature more than 12 national and international lecturers and will be a must-see for enthusiasts in the sector and explorers of new projects in energy recovery through waste and alternatives for handling solid waste.
