Ambiensys Shines Among Major Clients in Brazil and Abroad, Bringing Its Innovative Expertise to IFAT 2025

Delivering comprehensive solutions in waste management, effluent treatment, decarbonization, reverse logistics, and more

The environmental impact of human activities, especially in large-scale production and distribution, requires careful management and control. Ambiensys, a Curitiba-based group in Paraná, specializes in environmental management, providing end-to-end solutions in areas such as waste management, effluent treatment, decarbonization, and reverse logistics.

With 27 years of experience, Ambiensys has helped major corporations reduce their environmental footprint. According to Lucca Barros, Business Development Manager and partner at Ambiensys, the group’s mission is to “deliver complete environmental solutions, with the ability to serve clients across all regions of Brazil while offering innovative resources for this market.”

Beyond Brazil, the group also serves international clients, including an agricultural defense company in Paraguay, and has established strategic partnerships with companies in France and the Czech Republic.

The group comprises four companies: Ambiensys Inteligência Ambiental, which focuses on waste management, facilities services, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) projects; Wehrle do Brasil, specializing in the construction and operation of complex effluent treatment facilities and landfills; Reversa Serviços Ambientais, offering innovative waste management and treatment solutions to promote sustainability and the circular economy; and SIGRA, a waste management system that oversees waste transport manifests (MTRs) to ensure effective transport control.

According to the Business Development Manager, the group has achieved an average growth rate of 25% to 30% over the past five years (excluding Reversa, recently acquired). This progress stems from a stronger professionalization focus in recent years, which enabled Ambiensys to participate as an exhibitor at International Fair for Water, Sewage, Drainage and Waste Recovery Solutions, in 2024.

The success of IFAT Brazil 2024 has motivated Ambiensys to expand its presence at IFAT 2025. With support from partner companies, the group will double its booth size from 50m² to 100m². Ambiensys will also represent European companies Hofstetter, which specializes in biogas cogeneration equipment, and Witkovitz, known for silos and tanks related to biogas.

“Our participation in the trade fair exceeded expectations, helping us qualify leads and prospect new clients,” says Barros. “For next year’s booth, we’ve already secured 60m² (10 more than this year), but we’re considering doubling the size because many international companies view us as a key partner for entering Brazil. Our foreign partners would make a strong market entry with us.”
