Among the successfully implemented projects are the Belém Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE), responsible for treating about 30% of the wastewater generated in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, PR, and the Klabin Wastewater Treatment Plant, which uses activated sludge and an aerobic process where a tank/lagoon (through aeration blowers) promotes microbial growth in the wastewater. Flocculants (or suspended solids) are then separated from the wastewater through sedimentation.
Currently, Tequaly employs around 1,000 people, depending on client demand, and has the capacity to deliver comprehensive “360° solutions.” Based in Curitiba, PR, these solutions for water and wastewater treatment include physical, chemical, and biological processes (both aerobic and anaerobic), ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis membranes, and ion-exchange resins.
“These are technological processes, and within them, we provide complete systems for screening, grit removal, settlers, flocculators, filtration, flotation, biological treatment via activated sludge, etc. In other words, a full range of systems for water and wastewater,” explains Trindade.
